

Great end to a weekend
It's been a couple of weeks since I was seriously ill with man flu but I'm well on the road back to recovery. I'd taken it easy over the last week or so as I've been training solidly throughout summer and had started to feel a little run down, so thought best to recharge the batteries with a little light training, lots of rest and the odd duvet day. Getting back to full fitness
It's been a couple of weeks since my last blog and a big part of that has been spent in bed with serious man flu. I should have spotted the early warning signs when a couple of my team mates had the same thing and I just thought it had past me by - but oh no. So with a heavy cough and sour thought, training went out the window but at the begining of last week, I started to feel a little better. This weekend saw the latest round of the GB roller ski series. It was a 5km fast


Summer's almost over
Well not that its been much of a summer weather wise, but next week I head back to school. The Scottish schools break up earlier that the English schools but the downside is that they also go back earlier too. This summer hols have flown past quickly and when I look back over the past few weeks, its been pretty full on training, certainly for the past 4 weeks. I've been putting the hours in at training
After nearly 3 weeks of solid training, I turned up at this morning's session at the Huntly Nordic Ski Club expecting to see one or two teammates for our usual Sunday session.
