Summer's almost over

Well not that its been much of a summer weather wise, but next week I head back to school. The Scottish schools break up earlier that the English schools but the downside is that they also go back earlier too.

This summer hols have flown past quickly and when I look back over the past few weeks, its been pretty full on training, certainly for the past 4 weeks. I kind of feel I'm going back to school for a rest.

That said, it's going to be a busy six months as I juggle school work, exams and compete in my first real international races. I have competed in races in Norway and Sweden before but not as a FIS registered athlete and any points won now all count towards qualification for team selection.

Unlike most sports, the idea is to get as little FIS points in a race as possible with "zero" points being the ultimate. The point system is quite complicated and I'm still to fully understand it myself but I'm sure I'll pick it up soon enough.

This week a couple of sample Brödie t-shirts, that I'd ordered, arrived - I did a couple of sample shirts to see what they looked like. I'm pleased with them and I'm positive there is a huge "Brödie" marketplace out there with any funds raised going towards funding my skiing over the next few years. Anyway, pic below is just one of the designs, drop me a comment.
